As you can see in our Job Profiles section, decking can be used in a variety of ways. At low level on flat ground it's an alternative to a paved or brick patio and in sloping gardens it can be used to create a levelled seating area with or without balustrade. When constructed at a high level it can create useful storage space beneath and with the advent of special deck lighting combined with outdoor heaters a deck can be put to good use for most of the year.
